Bharat Stage (BS) emission standards Bharat mein gaadiyon se nikalne waale pollution ko control karne ke liye banaye gaye hain. Jaise-jaise technology behtar ho rahi hai, waise-waise Government in norms ko sakht karti ja rahi hai. Aaj ke blog mein hum BS6 (jo abhi chal raha hai) aur BS7 (jo aane waala hai) ke beech ke bade antar ko samjhenge.


BS6 vs BS7: Kya badalne waala hai aapki gaadiyon mein?

Bharat mein pradushan (pollution) ko kam karne ke liye ‘Bharat Stage’ norms ka bahut bada haath hai. April 2020 mein humne BS4 se seedha BS6 par jump kiya tha, aur ab charcha shuru ho gayi hai BS7 (jo ki European ‘Euro 7’ standards par adharit hoga) ki.

1. BS6 (Bharat Stage 6) Kya hai?

BS6 ko 2020 mein lagu kiya gaya tha. Iska mukhya maksad Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) aur Particulate Matter (PM) ko kam karna tha. Ismein DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) aur SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) jaise systems ko mandatory kiya gaya.

  • Fuel: BS6 fuel mein sulphur ki maatra 10ppm (parts per million) tak hoti hai, jo bahut kam hai.
  • RDE (Real Driving Emissions): BS6 Phase 2 mein RDE ko laya gaya, jismein gaadi ka emission sirf lab mein nahi balki sadak par chalte waqt bhi check kiya jata hai.

2. BS7 (Bharat Stage 7) Kya hoga?

BS7 agla kadam hai jo gaadiyon ko aur bhi zyada “clean” banayega. Halanki abhi iski koi official date nahi aayi hai, lekin umeed hai ki ye 2025-2028 ke beech aa sakta hai.

BS7 mein kya naya ho sakta hai:

  • Sirf Exhaust nahi, Brake aur Tyre par bhi dhyan: BS7 mein sirf engine se nikalne waala dhuaan hi nahi, balki breaks ghisne se aur tyres ke ghisne se nikalne waale particles ko bhi control karne ki koshish ki jayegi.
  • Tighter Emission Limits: NOx aur Carbon Monoxide (CO) ki limit ko aur bhi kam kar diya jayega.
  • On-board Monitoring (OBM): Gaadiyon mein aise sensors honge jo puri life ye monitor karenge ki gaadi kitna pollution kar rahi hai. Agar emission badha, to dashboard par turant warning aayegi.
